Visit to Narkhand, Jakhoo Temple, Army Museum, Shimala from 22-Mar-2017 to 24-Mar-2017

Visited Shimla second time and could move around more in Toyota Crysta with Sadhna and Kelkars. Very scenic and nice place and worth more than two visits due to a lot of scenic places and fantastic climate.

Jakhoo: 2 km from Shimla, at a height of 8,000 ft, Jakhu Hill is the highest peak in the city and has views of the city and of the snow-covered Himalayas. At the top of the hill is an old temple of Lord Hanuman, a Hindu deity which is popular among tourists and locals alike. A 108 feet (33 metre) statue of Lord Hanuman, at 8,500 feet (2,591 metres) above sea level, is the statue standing at the highest altitude among several other masterpieces in the world.

The Ridge a large open space along the Mall Road located in the center of Shimla. Prominent landmarks on the Ridge are a neo-Gothic structure of Church from 1844 and a tudorbethan styled library building built in 1910.

Very good point to spent some time peacefully and see the Sunset.

The Army Museum visited the museum on 24-Mar-2017. The museum covers the history of army right from 2500 BC till the modern  days. Spent more than two hours and was impressed a lot with information given in the museum about how the dress code changed over time period  and also the commemoration of heroes.
