Visit to Tian Tan Buddha and Makau Island on 06-Mar-2017

Tian Tan Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. The statue is sited near Po Lin Monastery and symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and faith. It is a major centre of Buddhism in Hong Kong, and is also a tourist attraction.

Got an opportunity to visit this excellent scenic place near Hingkong with PMI colleague from Mumbai and Pune. Spent about 3 hours but one can stay here a couple of days in a serene environment and enjoy the nature and power of this sacred place.

Also, visited Makau Island with Ashfaq Ahmed and spend about 4-5 hours. Astonished to partially see one of the huge casinos and was wondering about the young generation putting heavy beats everywhere. Urge for a human being to earn without making efforts so natural and impulsive that 80% of total tax revenue is coming from casino business.
