Srisailam to Pithauram was full day travelling and a distance of 482 km was covered to reach Pithapuram. We started around 10 am from Srisailam after taking darshan of Hanuman temple at Patalganga and reached Pithapur aound 11 pm. via Dornala, Guntur, Vijaywada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samarlakota, Jalluru.
We were surprisingly lucky to get a nice accommodation in a home late in night. The next day being Poornima- Full moon day, all the accommodation by the mandir were full. We were expected to vacate the rooms before 9 AM the next day. Wanted to take round in Rajahmundry but could not due to paucity of time.
