Warm Welcome at the resort
Stayed in Winds Desert Camp near village Kanoi near the dunes.  A nice place to stay in the tents which are clean and spacious. Warm welcome of the guests... The cultural evening is very good gives you glimpse of the Rajasthani folk dance and vocal singing. Abandoned Village, Kuldhara, Near Jaiselmer established around the 13th century, it was once a prosperous village inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins

A 2017 study suggests that Kuldhara and other neighboring villages were abandoned because of an earthquakeHowever, a legend claims that the village was abandoned overnight as the lecherous minister Salim Singh was attracted to a beautiful girl from the village and villagers abandoned the village overnight.

Spent about an hour in this ruined village and visited a ruined temple.

Jaisalmer also known as the golden city stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone and is crowned by the ancient Jaisalmer Fort. This fort contains a royal palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples of both the fort, and of the town below, are built of finely sculptured sandstone. The town lies in the heart of the Thar Desert (the Great Indian Desert). Spent about two-three hours in the premises of the fort and was really astonished to know the architecture of the fort provided cooling effect in the rooms of the fort during very hot summer or Rajasthan.

Shopping in Jaisalmer provides a lot of opportunities for tourists for purchase of variety of goods, handicrafts like mirror work embroidery, Camel Leather Products, Fossil Stones, Souvenirs and Gift Items.

Gadsisar Lake – Excavated in 1367 by Rawal Gadsi Singh, it is a scenic rainwater lake surrounded by the small temples and shrines of Amar Sagar. Earlier, this lake was used to be the main water source of Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer War Museum was conceptualized to display India's rich military history and showcase real war efforts as they happened in the past. The Jaisalmer War Museum aims to promote greater awareness of the sacrifice made by heroes of the Indian Army.
