Visit to Llandudno, Britania Bridge and Lanberis Pass on 25-Dec-1999

A fantastic day out on the Christmas day with Sadhan and Priyanka with a lot of excitement  !!! A day  to remember for life  which was as short day and chilled with near sub-zero temperature. There was hardly any  traffic on the road as people were celebrating the big day at home.  The travel through the Llanbaris Pass was totally in isolation with no vehicle crossed for nearly 2 hours. No mobiles, no connectivity creating excitement among all of us. Any how reached the national high way A55 after long two hours with out any problem.

A day to remember forever ... !!!

Enjoying the strong and cold wind at ... !!!

Llandudno is a seaside resort located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea

Marine Drive is the first route round the perimeter of the Great Orme Following The 4 miles (6.4 km) one-way drive starts at the foot of the Happy Valley. After about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) a side road leads to St. Tudno's Church, the Great Orme Bronze Age Copper Mine and the summit of the Great Orme. Continuing on the Marine Drive the Great Orme Lighthouse (now a small hotel) is passed, and, shortly afterwards on the right, the Rest and Be Thankful Cafe and information centre.

Britannia Bridge  is a bridge across the Menai Strait between the island of Anglesey and the mainland of Wales. It was originally designed and built by the noted railway engineer Robert Stephenson as a tubular bridge of wrought iron rectangular box-section spans for carrying rail traffic. Its importance was to form a critical link of the Chester and Holyhead Railway's route, enabling trains to directly travel between London and the port of Holyhead, thus facilitating a sea link to Dublin, Ireland.
