Multiple visits to Vajreshwari from 1996

Visited Vajreshwari and Ganeshpuri quite a few times. Good one day out from Thane. Visits during the rainy seasons are quite beautiful and greenery everywhere.

Visit to Titwala in May-1996

Visited Titwala for the first time in a very hot and sultry climate with Deepak, Dhanu and Vijumama. Getting into the Kalu river in such hot day I remember today.

The Siddhivinayaka Mahaganapati Temple is located in Titwala. Titwala is believed to be the putative site of the hermitage of Sage Kanva, foster parent of Shakuntala who was born here.  

Later on, Titwala become my one of the popular day out destinations and visited quite a few times.

Multiple Visits to Mumbai

Visited  Mumbai City multiple times and enjoyed a day long tours again and again... !!! Visits to the busy and crowded city have always been exciting. Moving in Fort, Gateway of India, Marine Lines is my favorite walkouts in Mumbai. Enjoyed wandering and shopping in Fort, Crawford markets and Fashion Street which are full of variety and imported goods.  Also bargaining with the sellers has been enjoying.  while making purchases. This is real Mumbai and suburbans like Dadar Bandra or Juhu.

Visit to Rameshwaram in May-1993

Visited Rameswaram with Priyanka and Sadhna - a one full day tour from Madurai by mini jeep of an ex-serviceman. This was second LTC travel by us after Andaman and Nicobar.

Visit to Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Pakshitirtha, Shivkanchi, Vishnukanchi in May-1990

Visited Marina Beach, Chennai, Crocodile Park, chennai, Shore Temple, Mahabalipuram, Vishnukanchi, Kanchipuram, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kanchipuram,  in one day hectic tour from Chennai by bus. 

Visit to Andaman Islands in May-1990

Visited with Sadhana and Priyanka. First LTC travel to  Andaman Islands .  The then, I was working in Bank of Maharashtra and decided to go to the remote place like Andaman and Nicobar Island out of curiosity and excitement of visiting the islands.   Traveled from Chennai to Port Blair by Indian Airlines. Really wanted to travel by boat / liner, but had to omit the idea as the boats/liners  are chartered and timetable gets announced only a couple of weeks early making planning difficult.  Once we reached Port Blair dropped travel to Car Nicobar after realizing that only one flight in a week for Car Nicobar. 

Visited Cellular Jail, Port Blair and saw the sound and light show in the remembrance of Veer Savarkar and other prisoners. Also, visited Jolly_Buoy_Island, Chatham Saw Mill, Port Blair, Forest Museum, Port Blair  and City of Port Blair. 

Very memorable trip and wish to visit again to rejuvenate memories of this visit !!!

Visit to Goa in November-1986

Visited Goa for the first time with Sadhana and did two days tour of North and South Goa. Also attended the cultural program in Mandavi river, Panjim. The tour was fantastic marked by beautiful temples, magnificent churches and clean beaches.  Traveled from Panjim to Kolhapur via Amboli Ghat. Visited Shanteri, Mangeshi, Calangute Beach, Dauna Paula,

Visit to Sahastrakunda in 1968

This was my first trip of life when I was in 8th standard. Our school People High School, Nanded arranged an educational tour to a waterfall named Sahastrakund Waterfall on Penganga river, near Kinwat in Nanded District.
