Day-08 - Visit to Shivtar Ghal and Bhairavnath, Goregaon on 16-Nov-2013

Shivthar Ghal also known as Sundarmath i.e. Beautiful Monastery is a cave. Samarth Ramdasdictated Dasbodh to Kalyan Swami. Samarth Ramdas lived here for about 22 years. It is believed that this is where the first meeting between Shivaji Maharaj and Samarth Ramdas took place.

Visited Shivtar Ghal for the second time with Anna, Aai, Bapukaka, Uncle, Sadhana and Raju Khetam and spend about 1 hour at the Ghal.

Ganapati Temple, Redi is a village in the district of Sindhudurg in Maharashtra. Originally known as Rewati, Redi is located close to the shores of the Arabian Sea.

Day-04 - Visit to Amboli on 13-Nov-2013

On first day of the Konkan tour, visited Amboli with Anna, Bapu, Aai, Sadhna and Raju Khetam

Day-02 -Yamai Mandir, Aundh, Audambar, Wadi on 11-Nov-2013

Yamai Mandir, Aundh  The idol of Devi Mahishasur Mardini Yamai in black stone is almost 2 meters high and is in a cross-legged sitting position.

Unfortunately, could not see the Shri Bhavani Museum as Friday was holiday.

Was hearing about these two places since my childhood, but could at least visit the temple in 2011.
